121. Caps for Kids – Northern Boulevard UMC

Caps for Kids

As the congregation gathered at Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church the communion rail was covered with love.  Love in the form of 113 warm woolen stocking caps knitted for Native American children by 96 year-old church member, Edna Doudney.  The stocking caps were dedicated to the glory of God by the congregation before they were boxed up to be sent off to be used by our Native American nations.  Edna can knit a cap a day when she feels like it.  She says that she knits almost every day.
