207. MissionCast – Seeds of Hope – St. Luke’s UMC, Kansas City

house

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church has rehabbed a house to make it a “home” for their transitional housing ministry.  The project has involved over a hundred volunteers who donated over 1700 hours of labor as well as community organizations and businesses that donated things like air conditioners and water heaters.  The congregation tells about this mission outreach project in this MissionCast.

We want to thank Frank Stormer, member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, for producing this MissionCast and we want to commend Mission Coordinator, Sue Love, and the whole congregation for providing transitional housing for their community.

We offer this MissionCast in hopes that if there is a need for transitional housing in your church community you will contact St. Luke’s and learn from them what a wonderful outreach ministry this is.  You may contact St. Luke’s UMC by calling 816-763-8444 or visiting their website at http://www.stlukeskc.org.
