352. MissionCast – Pure Water to the Mountains of Haiti – Missouri UMC

Missouri United Methodist Church’s two previous college age ministry teams to Haiti had installed pure water filters in the plains of Haiti. A part of this third team was asked to take pure water to the mountains. View their trials and triumphs.

We want to thank Holly Davis, on the Missouri Conference staff, for this creative video montage of the third annual Missouri Conference SERVE mission outreach event. Churches across the state reached out to their communities in Christian service. This MissionCast will give you a good idea of the way our communities in Missouri were served. The event was organized by the Missouri Conference Office of Creative Ministries.

330. MissionCast – VIM Costa Rica – Joe Bartelsmeyer

Since 1997 the Missouri Conference Office of Creative Ministries has sent over 30 teams to Costa Rica to serve at the Latin American Biblical Seminary. The seminary prepares students for ministry from all of Central and South America. The current need is for teams to build married student apartments. Our most recent Volunteers in Mission team to serve on this project was led by Joe Bartelsmeyer. Joe shares their experience in this MissionCast and offers an invitation to others to serve. 323. MissionCast – College Age Ministry to Haiti – Missouri UMC

Students from the college age ministry of Missouri United Methodist Church traveled to Haiti to install pure water filters in homes. For this MissionCast we interviewed Joy Jenkins and Audrey Wagner two of the missionaries on the trip. The water filters they installed are of a smaller less costly variety than those installed by previous mission teams. Audrey tells about the new filter and they both share about their experience in Haiti.
