25. Della Lamb, Kansas City


Judy Akers, director of Della Lamb, shares information about their ministry in Kansas City, Missouri.  Della Lamb Community Services was founded in 1897 as a Methodist Mission to provide child care for poor, working mothers. 23. Metro Homeless Shelter & Family Services (Metro Ministry), St. Louis

Metro Ministry

Founded in 1968, by the Missouri East Conference of the United Methodist Church, Metro Ministry has helped thousands of individuals and families by providing shelter, emergency food, clothing, and financial assistance. 8. Kingdom House, St. Louis
