315. MissionCast – Rainbow Network

Rev. Cleo Kottwitz recently returned from Nicaragua with a group visiting the projects of the Rainbow Network based out of Springfield, Missouri. We are happy that he took time to share the highlights of the mission experience with MissionCast. He is available for speaking to congregations and other groups. 314. Taste of India / Gift of Life

Haiti

Members of the Susquehanna Conference recently held a taste of India event to raise funds for children with congenital heart defects to receive surgery. These surgeries are now being offered through the Ludhiana Christian Medical College. It was a lovely evening with Indian food, Indian dance and a short video program. 313. MissionCast – Circles of Transformation – Meet Brent Jones

The Circles of Transformation ministry coordinated by Rev. Harold Johnson is a part of the Restorative Justice Ministry of the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church. In this MissionCast Johnson talks about the ministry and introduces Mr. Brent Jones who serves as the Institutional Activities Director for the Western Missouri Correctional Center, in Cameron. The MissionCast this week is about the Bag Ladies at Campbell UMC in Springfield. Their pastor, Andy Bryan, relates this wonderful experience of their meeting one of the babies who received one of the bags that they make in the church kitchen.
